Toyota has cleared the unofficial booking of the BS6 Fortuner, and customers who wish to purchase the BS6 Toyota Fortuner can make a booking of Rs 50,000.

Toyota is in the process of releasing the BS6 Toyota Fortuner in India and now the BS6 Toyota Fortuner can be booked from select Toyota dealers for just Rs 50,000.

The BS6 Toyota Fortuner will continue to be the 2.8-liter turbo diesel engine in the BS4 provisional Toyota Fortuner and the 2.7-liter petrol engine. It is estimated that the diesel engine will be discontinued on the BS6 Fortuner, and the petrol engine will continue to be compulsory.
While BS4 diesel engines produce 177bhp and 420Nm of torque, petrol engines produce 166bhp and 245Nm of torque. Any of these BS6 Fortuner engines are subject to the BS6 provision.
